It seems ages ago that Kitchen Nightmares, Gordon Ramsay, and Amy’s Baking Company came together to create one of the most bizarre and hate-filled internet eruptions ever. Ramsay finally met his match when faced with an owner who seemed to despise her customers, didn’t think she was doing anything wrong, and had no interest in any advice or criticism.

While the show often features owners who have a mind-bogglingly stubborn refusal to accept that anything is wrong, despite having asked Ramsay to show up, because their businesses are failing, Amy took things to new levels of delusion. Where most are at least nice to their customers, or ultimately accept that their food might not be that great, Amy screams at her customers, and is apparently willing to defend the idea to the death.

In the end, Ramsay shook his head and threw up his hands, and it took him longer than anyone watching could believe.

That wasn’t even half of the fun though, as the truly bizarre rantings of “Amy” and the heated flamings of viewers nearly crashed Facebook. I put her name in quotes there, because she eventually claimed that her account had been hacked, and the FBI was looking into it. Of course, she followed that after a while with more ranting, so whatever.

Well, now you can get ready for round two. The original show is being rebroadcast on the 21st, followed on the 28th by a new episode, kicking off a new season, which finds Ramsay returning to Amy’s Baking Company. Find out how things have gone over the last year.
