One of the biggest surprises of the summer, if it's still summer, The Family is a lot of fun, and has a good time with its characters, without ever losing control.

A disappointment, and yet there is a fair amount of fun to be had with Riddick. The screenplay doesn't live up to its own delusions of ability, and a few things are crazy, but somewhat enjoyable nonetheless.

The new Hobbit film didn't impress us, but at least we covered the Golden Globe noms. So there's that.

The Mummy is plagued with problems, and suffered from a serious expectation shift, but is that bad?

We had so much fun with Django that we couldn't even get to the other movie. Definitely a film you have to see.
