RU? Instant Reaction Review Podcast Ep. 67 – The Wolverine Review

The Wolverine Review didn’t exactly surprise us, although we perhaps pretend that it did a bit. I think in the end we knew that it wasn’t going to completely meet up with our expectations. On the other hand, I guess the truth is that it did meet mine pretty well. I recognize the flaws and problems, but I just don’t mind them that much.

Hugh Jackman was great, and the story worked awfully well. The long and short of things probably comes down to Shane’s view, and where you fall when getting his take on things. He had a lot of problems, and certain elements of the film’s layout really ticked him off, but at the end he still gave it 3.5 stars, and it’s usually the sort of thing that would drop his rating to the floor.

We also have a go at the upcoming Metallica film, because the trailer for that killed us.

Give us a listen, and let us know what you thought of the film, and tune in live to be on the air with us.

We also gave this TouchCast thing a whirl, and while you only get the full effect by using the App at this point, a YouTube of the TouchCast is automatically created, so you can at least get some idea of what goes on. We very selfishly would like you to download and use this App as much as possible, because we are hoping to expand our own use. Please check out.

Zoo TV Review – CBS

In a different world, CBS' Zoo is the kind of show you would bet good money that someone made as a joke, just because they were pissed that people liked the book, and wanted to show them how stupid it really was. That, or they figured they could make some money off the people who would watch it. Well..., I guess that second is kind of how it works.
