RU? Instant Reaction Review Podcast Ep. 107 – Edge Of Tomorrow Review

Edge of Tomorrow was probably the movie that we have most looked forward to in at least a year. But, even though we went in with high hopes, we were also awfully nervous that this could easily be a film that went sideways fast, and became something silly.

Luckily, despite a lot of negative audience reaction to the film’s ending, we weren’t disappointed at all.

We respond to listener questions (more than one), on Jonah Hill and his apology, and the casting of Gambit, and I share my own secret for famous people to rid themselves of the paparazzi forever.

We have a lot to say about Edge of Tomorrow, and we do talk about the ending, so be prepared for the fact that we eventually get spoilery. Perhaps most impressively, even though we both also loved Oblivion, Tom Cruise was really good. Somewhat surprisingly, even though a lot of people obviously had problems with the end, it was the beginning that brought my rating down. Overall, this one was so fun and clever that we were hooked quick, and it never lost us.
