RU? Instant Reaction Review Podcast Ep. 128 – Birdman, Big Eyes, American Sniper Review

We fell into a real tailspin with the approaching awards season, and this week we covered Birdman, Big Eyes, and American Sniper, and it turned out to be a very interesting combination.

From a listener email, we also discussed The Interview, and the potential ramifications of the entire debacle.

We only really disagreed on Big Eyes, but it’s understandable considering the Tim Burton effort isn’t exactly trying to work for everyone.

The question of the week was actually about American Sniper, which we both had a mostly positive reaction to, but had a lot of problems with. If not for the abilities of the actors, I’m not sure this one would have managed to get past a 5 rating.
