I’m not even actually a fan of these films, though the last one wasn’t bad… exactly, but I’m weirdly a fan of Matt Reeves. If you go from writing Under Siege 2: Dark Territory (which just should not have happened) to writing/directing The Pallbearer (which isn’t that bad) to creating Felicity to Cloverfield, Let Me In, and then Ape movies… well, I want to have a drink with you, because that is a weird bloody road.

This one has me pulled in a lot of directions – it has Woody Harrelson, but it’s ultimately a goofy Ape movie… the last one at least had a great theory and Andy Serkis, but… I mean, I know how it ends, right?

Whatever you might bring into this one, it is going to be popcorn cinema at its finest, and there’s a chance that this whole thing might come together with this one.
