Kenneth Branagh directs Johnny Depp (and himself) in Agatha Christie. There are worse sentences to use as bait for a film. It’s hard to really get a feel for this one, but the cast is amazing, and this is actually a film that feels like a revisit might not be a bad idea.

As you might expect, Branagh, coupled with the chance to bring new life to this classic, means that the cast is amazing. It’s likely that this one will also get a lot of attention during award season, and you have to wonder what new spins might be introduced to the telling of the story.

Adding to the overall anticipation, there’s something of a Christie kick in play right now with a few other adaptations hitting in various markets.
