Most Anticipated Movies Of 2017 And Why They Should Be Worth Your Time

[tps_title]Annihilation[/tps_title]

There’s virtually nothing to go on with Annihilation, and it might ultimately get pushed to 2018, but Alex Garland’s follow-up to Ex Machina is going to be something worth watching. ¬†Even if Ex Machina didn’t quite live up to its potential, it’s in that class of film that makes you painfully aware that you’d rather watch someone try to do something brilliant and miss the mark than endlessly watch people take on mediocrity and nail it.

The film has a very interesting mix in its cast, with Natalie Portman, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Oscar Isaac, Gina Rodriguez, and man more.

The only thing you get right now is that the story follows a biologist on a secret expedition to somewhere that the laws of nature don’t apply. Whatever that might mean.
