Are You Screening? Podcast #212 – The Circle & The Fate Of The Furious Reviews

The summer was largely lost for podcast updates here on the site, but we were still around in the “real” podcast world. We want to give a shout out to all the listeners who tune in every week (ish), and let you know that we’ll be on the from now on as some of you have let us know that it’s your preferred mode of consumption. Please bear with us as we catch up.

The Circle and The Fate of the Furious couldn’t be further apart on the movie spectrum, and neither of them really did it for us. You’ll have to tune in to find out where these went wrong for us, and we’ll also let you in on some of the better films we saw at Tribeca and why you should keep track of when they’re available to you.

The Circle did have at least several positives in the mix. It’s just that it turned odd, had a story that moved into bizarre areas, and didn’t quite come together into anything. It ended feeling like something of a lark, and I was looking for something more interesting.
