Welcome to Sweden not only delivered on the premise, but improved as the season went on, and it's only real flaw is that it's so short. Poehler delivers a varied performance, and one that captures the reality inherent the almost unbelievable true story.
McFarland USA tugs on heartstrings in a largely familiar "sports movie" manner, but it goes about things a little differently. It seems to whitewash things, and delivers emotional plot in simplistic steps, but overall it's surprisingly well made.
Kingsman: The Secret Service is a uniquely modern spin on the spy genre, and one that hopes to aim at such a large audience that it perhaps cannot hope to work on every level it tries incorporate. It's one hell of a try though.
Exodus: Gods and Kings is a strangely compelling movie considering the subject matter, and the lack of attention the film received. The Blu-Ray may turn off fans for the lack of bonuses available on the 3D release.
