It was a largely disappointing crop of films, and we were all over the place. Inherent Vice is still worth checking out, even if I didn't like it as much as some people.
A drama that comes close to perfect, with great acting that pulls you in, Dallas Buyers Club easily one of the better films of the year, but I don't know if it's one of the best.
Seth MacFarlane's A Million Ways to Die in the West didn't grab us, and didn't manage to really get any laughs, but it's fairly entertaining.
