Transcendence didn't hold us, and irritatingly wasted Johnny Depp, but at least it's a conversation started... maybe.
Giving "worthless remake" an entirely unique spin, this one couldn't be more awful. Loving to hate it is the only conceivable avenue I can see.

A surprisingly solid actioner with a great turn by Karl Urban. Just about everything we'd been missing from the summer, and managed so well that we were pretty blown away.
We almost couldn't like this less, and the save for Carrie turns out to be its least important characters. Huzzah.
