It was a crazy week that packed in more than we could possibly talk about, but we also managed to cover The Imitation Game and Into the Woods.

We were blown away by Nightcrawler, even if we didn't rate it as though it were amazing. Sometimes an actor can just take off and fly beyond the material, and Jake Gyllenhaal certainly does that here.

Birdman may have been the clear winner this week, but I rated Big Eyes even higher.

It's a crazy mix as we try to catch up, and do a bad job frankly.

It was a largely disappointing crop of films, and we were all over the place. Inherent Vice is still worth checking out, even if I didn't like it as much as some people.
