Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children Releases Trailer And Poster

Of all the films coming out this year, there aren’t many that can match the potential of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, and the film has finally released a trailer and poster.

Based on the novel of the same name, and directed by Tim Burton, this one is a film destined to become a classic “fairy tale” film that people will repeatedly watch for generations. That is, if the film delivers anything like the fantastic novel.

The film stars Eva Green, and Asa Butterfield in notable roles, and if Butterfield gives a performance on par with some of his others, he will carry things along well. Also in the film are Ella Purnell, Allison Janney, Terence Stamp, Rupert Everett, Judi Dench, Samuel L. Jackson, and Chris O’Dowd.

The story (and it’s a trailer that does a fair job of laying things out) revolves around Jake (Butterfield) who stumbles into Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, a fantastic place filled with children with curious abilities. He soon learns that not everything is fun and games in the world of odd wonders, and he is somehow meant to be the protector of the place.

The film hits September 30th.

Take a look, and let us know what you think.
